About the Route:
This weeks convoy we will start our journey in St. Petersburg. Saint Petersburg, formerly known as Petrograd and later Leningrad, is the second-largest city in Russia!
We will be picking up in St. Petersburg at Ika and then meeting on the A118 at the truck/fuel stop just out of town. We will leave at 12:00 p.m. CST Sharp.
Hopefully there will be so many of us we won’t fit in the parking lot!!! HYPE
First Destination will be in Lublin. We will be dropping off at Eurogoodies in Lublin. Lublin is the ninth-largest city in Poland and the second-largest city of historical Lesser Poland. We will not be making any stops on this 1,239 km trip so be sure to fuel up before we leave.
Second Destination will be in Lasi, also referred to as Jassy and is the second largest city in Romania. We will be dropping off at BHV in Lasi. Lubin to Lasi is 1,155 km. We will be leaving Lublin headed to Lasi on the road just south of town. There is no name or number on this road. There will be a 5-10 minute break.
After you drop off in Lasi be sure to fuel up again and then meet us on the 28 (headed south) just out of town. We will take a 5-10 minute break.
Final drop off Destination will be in Istanbul. Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey and the country’s economic, cultural and historic center.
We will be placing a check point (pin/marker) North of Burgas on the 9. Lasi to Istanbul is 958 km.
After we drop off at Baltrak in Istanbul we will meet for a picture (light permitting) in the parking lot at the back of Baltrak. Hope to see you all there! Bear HugZ <3
